Hook Block

Overview

The hook block is an important hoisting equipment that used to trip the drill pipe, tubing, sucker rod and some kinds of drill tools in the drilling and workover operation, its main functions are as the follows:

* Hanging the swivel and drill tools when drilling;

* Hanging the elevator bail and elevator to trip the drill tools on the round-trip operation;

* Finish other drilling and auxiliary operation.

Designed and manufactured in accordance with SY/T 5527: Main hoisting equipment for drilling rig and API Spec 8C: Specification for Drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment standards.

Feature

The hook block is designed to integrate the traveling block with hook, its superiority is the following: small whole size, compact structure, which shorten the combination length of the traveling block and hook in order to make full use of the mast height, operation easily, match the truck-mounted drilling rig well.
