Mud Pump Gear Reducer

Overview

The reducer used to drive the mud pump consists mainly of gear reducer and chain reducer, which are usually mounted on the mud pump unitization skid base and connected to the engine or transmission, mainly for reducing the output speed of the diesel engine to the appropriate speed in order to match the stroke of the mud pump. The gear reducer can be divided into two types according to the different direction of power input and output, one is the straight gear drive gearbox and the other is the angle gear drive gearbox .

Features

The power input and output direction of the mud pump gear reducer are parallel. 

The power is transfered to the gear reducer through the universal coupling and input flange, and then transfered to the output flange after slowing down by gear engagement, the pneumatic tube clutch can be installed on the output flange, and then the power is transfered to the mud pump through the friction wheel.

The box body of the mud pump gear reducer is composed of the combination of the upper and the lower box body, and the material is made of HT200 cast iron, which has good shock absorption effect. The right end of the input axis is fitted with input flanges to connected with the coupling. A wheel is installed at one end of the output shaft for mounting the air tire clutch. At the other end is a single guide air union for connecting the clutch control air source.
