Compound Transfer Gearbox 

Overview

The power of the mobile rig comes from the engine mounted on the chassis,  and then the power will be transferred to the axle, drilling drawworks, rotary table through a variety of transmission gearboxes, chain cases and transmission components. These transmission gearboxes mainly consist of compound transfer gearbox, transfer case (drop gearbox), angle gearbox (compound angle gearbox), rotary table drive gearbox, upper & lower rotary table chain case, etc.

Features

The compound transfer gearbox is a kind of power distribution device. It can compound the power from two engines and then transfer them separately to four power output ends: drilling drawworks, front axle of chassis, rear axle of chassis and rotary table.

The body of the compound transfer gearbox is a kind of steel plate welded box, and its structure is kind of parallel gear pair transmission mechanism. It equipped with two power input ends and four power output ends, and used for driving the chassis front axle, rear axle, drilling drawworks and rotary table respectively. Two input ends can be driven separately or simultaneously. Among the four output ends, the front and rear axle drive output ends can drive the chassis at the same time, or drive the chassis separately by the rear axle, and while the two output ends of the drilling drawworks and rotary table can be driven separately or simultaneously.
